    Funnel Optimization

The earlier in the funnel conversions are optimized, the more dramatic the results. Industry standard on the left. Edit the rates on the right to see what's possible.

    How to read this calculator

The left side shows a typical paid-ad funnel for a capital raise: $3,000 of ad spend, 30,000 impressions, a 1% click-through rate, 20% of visitors filling in the form, 3.3% of leads booking a call and half of those calls turning into an investment of $100,000. The right side starts with modest improvements at every stage. Change any rate to see how the capital raised moves. The figures are illustrative, not a forecast or a promise of results.

    Why early improvements compound

Each stage multiplies the one before it. Doubling the click-through rate doubles every number below it, so a small lift at the top of the funnel is worth more than a big lift at the bottom. With the default numbers, improving four rates by a few points each turns roughly $99,000 raised into roughly $396,000 from the same ad spend, about 4 times more.

    What moves each rate

    • Click-through rate: sharper investor targeting and ad creative that speaks to one investor type. Public ads are only allowed for offerings that permit general solicitation, such as 506(c) and Reg A+. Read our guide to Reg D advertising limits.
    • Form fill rate: a fast, credible landing page with a short form and clear next step. See website design for fund managers.
    • Appointment rate: speed to lead. Investors who are contacted within minutes book far more often than those followed up days later. Automated email, SMS and AI qualifying calls close that gap. See CRM and sales automation.
    • Close rate: investor education before the call, a professional deck and consistent follow-up. See pitch deck design.

    Frequently asked questions

Which stage should I optimize first?

Start at the top. A higher click-through rate and form fill rate increase the volume flowing into every later stage, so gains there compound.

Are these numbers a forecast for my raise?

No. They are illustrative industry-style benchmarks to show how conversion rates interact. Your results depend on your offering, audience, budget and follow-up.

Can I run paid ads for a 506(b) offering?

Generally no. 506(b) prohibits general solicitation, so public advertising is normally used for 506(c) or Reg A+ offerings. Speak to your securities attorney before advertising.

How does FundFunnels improve funnel conversion?

We build and run the full funnel: capital raise ad campaigns, landing pages, CRM follow-up and reporting, then test each stage to lift its rate. Try the capital raise calculator or book a strategy call.
